Welcome to our home page. The club is an activity of Patcham Community Association and is housed in
Patcham Community Centre (BN1 8TA) - Ladies Mile Road - Patcham - just off the main London Road as you enter the
outskirts of Brighton from the north (
map).
We are a well supported club, officially formed in 1999 with a membership of over 300.
When our members
join
the Club they are joining the Patcham Community Association, which accounts for our low table fees and session times are
set out in the panel below. We guarantee a partner on Wednesday
evenings (
Level 1)
events but NOT at other times although we can assist in finding partners.
We pride ourselves in being VERY friendly and have a break during sessions
with free tea/coffee and biscuits which enables members to socialise.
The navigation bar links you to other pages and if you click on RESULTS
and check out some of the sessions played, you
will probably recognise a few well known Sussex names including
Sally Bugden (EBU Chairman) member since April '04 and we regularly
have other visitors during the Brighton Congress.
Our TEAMS sessions include
tea, sandwiches and cakes and visiting teams are welcome - but do give us prior
notice for catering purposes. Email or ring our Secretary if you require further details. If
you click on the club logo below it will save the page in 'favorites' for your
convenience. Click on the FILES button for a membership application form
which you can download along with other documentation.
I would also recommend checking the
NEWS page for any up to date information and Events.
September 2010 Peter Langston current chairman was awarded the Dimmie Flemming Award
for his contribution to bridge both for the club and county.
May 2011 - Patcham B.C. is ranked 23rd in the country for number/variety events as ranked by the E.B.U. —
